๐ Buyback & Burn Model
Buyback & Burn Model
A sustainable deflationary mechanism to protect long-term value and reward token holders.
๐ฅ What Is Buyback & Burn?
The Buyback & Burn model is a token-economic mechanism where a portion of the platform's revenue is used to:
Buy MONP tokens from the market
Permanently remove (burn) them from circulation
This reduces the total supply of MONP over time, creating long-term scarcity and upward pressure on value.
๐ธ Source of Buyback Funds
10% of all platform fees collected go toward the buyback pool.
๐ IDO participation fees
Platform cut from token sales
๐ณ MONP purchases (via fiat)
Spread or service fee on fiat-to-token transactions
๐ช Boost / Pass sales
MONP used to buy Boosted Access tools (part is burned too)
๐ฏ Project listing fees
Projects pay MONP to apply and list
๐ Buyback Cycle
Fees are collected in MON, USDT, or other accepted tokens
Converted to MONP via on-chain DEX swaps
MONP tokens are sent to the burn address (
0x000...dead
)Burn events are published publicly and reflected on dashboards
๐ Impact on Token Supply
Each burn reduces circulating supply permanently
With more IDOs, more activity = more burns
Creates a positive feedback loop:
More Users โ More Fees โ More Burns โ Less Supply โ Higher Demand
๐ Real-Time Burn Tracker
Visible in the Dashboard UI:
โ๐ฅ MONP Burned Today: Xโ
โ๐ฅ Total MONP Burned: Yโ
Visual chart of cumulative burns
Optional blockchain explorer link
This increases transparency and gamifies burn participation for users.
๐ Strategic Benefits
๐ Value protection
Deflation offsets inflation or sell pressure
๐ก Real utility use
MONP is used constantly โ not just held or staked
๐ค Project alignment
Projects help grow token value via their own activity
๐ Long-term sustainability
Token economy becomes self-reinforcing and demand-driven

๐ง Future Enhancements
Planned improvements:
Dynamic burn rate based on volume
Community governance over burn percentage
Event-based burns (e.g., milestone IDOs trigger bonus burns)
